The urological diseases primarily affect the urinary system of the person. In the human body the urinary system comprised of kidneys, ureters, bladder, and the urethra. The main function performed by this system is of removing waste from the body and to regulate electrolytes, blood volume, blood pressure, and blood pH. The urology diseases may be genetic or could be acquired with age. Some of these diseases may include kidney stones, benign prostatic hyperplasia, urinary incontinence etc.

Some of the common urological problems are as follows -

Kidney Stones
The stones formed in the kidneys block the passage of urine flow causing the immense amount of pain. Small stones may be removed naturally through the urine while the bigger stones require an accurate treatment. These stones may be removed through medical or surgical processes.

Benign Prostatic Hypertrophy (BPH)
The disease of the enlarged prostate is known as the Benign Prostatic Hypertrophy disorder.  In this disorder, the size of the prostate is increased considerably. Some of the frequent symptoms of this disease include urination, trouble starting to urinate, weak stream, inability to urinate, or loss of bladder control. Usually, over the age of 50 years suffer from this disease.
Urinary Incontinence

Urinary incontinence is the loss of control of the bladder. Some of the symptoms of this disease involve accidental urination or dripping during coughing or sneezing, inability to completely empty the bladder, frequent urination, and urgent need to urinate. Further, the major reasons behind this disease may include diabetes, pregnancy, overactive bladder, enlarged prostate etc.
 

Urinary tract infection

Urinary tract infection is a very common problem in men and women caused by the action of pathogenic bacteria and virus.

Some of the common symptoms of this infection include the sensations like burning, itching, or pain during urination, incontinence, foul-smelling urine, or blood in urine.

Infertility
One urology problem found in men and women is infertility that creates hurdles in the way of reproduction. Due to this problem men, an women are unable to cause pregnancy generally due to the reasons like law sperm ejaculations, or if the sperm is of a poor quality.
Prostatitis

The disorder in men due to which the prostrate prostate gland is infected and inflamed is called Prostatitis. This disorder causes the narrowing of the pathway for the urethra causing pain during urination. Some of the symptoms of this disease include pain in the groin area or lower back, cloudy or bloody urine, and flu. 

 
Prostate Cancer

The most common cancer found in men is the prostate cancer.  In the prostate cancer, the abnormal cells grow in the prostate gland the part of the reproductive organ of the men. The prostate gland is located below the bladder and in front of the rectum. The main function of the prostate gland is to produce some of the fluid in semen and plays a role in urine control in men. The possible symptoms of prostate cancer include frequent urges to urinate, blood in urine, painful urination etc.

 
Interstitial cystitis

Interstitial cystitis also is known as the painful bladder syndrome is a chronic condition causing bladder pressure, bladder pain and sometimes pelvic pain. Some of the common signs of this disorder include pain in your pelvis, urgent need to urinate, pain during sexual intercourse.
